On August 6, 2012 President Obama signed the Honoring America’s Veterans and Caring for Camp Lejeune Families Act of 2012 into law. This historic piece of legislation provides health care benefits to veterans and their families made ill from polluted drinking water at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.
